Over 60 years ago, a group of pioneering Yacht Clubs created what is now the Recreational Boating Association of Washington. We are proud that most of these original clubs are still Organizational Members of RBAW, participating in our ongoing activities to benefit boating.  Each Organizational Member appoints one (1) Delegate to represent the organization at RBAW monthly, annual, and any special Board of Director meetings*.  The Delegate will be authorized to vote at meetings of the Organizational members (non-Board of Director meetings) with each Organizational Member having one (1) vote. 

At present we have 40 clubs on our organizational membership roster. Organizational Memberships are open to all recreational boating associations, such as yacht clubs, cruising clubs and any other organization having for their principal purpose the promotion of boating in the State of Washington and adjacent waters.
